A long-term commitment to our community.
KidMed brings together paediatricians and visiting paediatric specialists in the Blue Mountains, caring for children from infancy through adolescence.
Since 2013, we have supported children and families in the Blue Mountains and surrounding regions. We take time to understand each child’s needs and work with families, GPs and other health professionals to plan their care.
Our contribution extends beyond specialist consultations: through paediatric outreach in Lithgow, teaching future doctors, sharing knowledge with local GPs and developing new approaches to early childhood health through our research activities and BabyOn project.
Community
The outreach service delivered 468 clinics and approximately 5,700 occasions of service from January 2013 to August 2026, alongside a long-standing medical teaching programme.
Service activity, not the number of individual children. Dr Babajanyan’s involvement began in 2013; delivery through KidMed began in 2020.
