We are excited to announce that Dr Deepak Gill, one of the top experts in paediatric neurology/epilepsy, has joined our team!

Dr Deepak Gill

Paediatric Neurologist
MBBS (Lon), BSc Hons, MRCP, MRCPCH (UK), FRACP

Dr Deepak Gill is a Paediatric Neurologist with over 23 years’ experience. He is a consultant at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Honorary Senior Lecturer at The University of Sydney and University of Melbourne and Head of the Epilepsy Research Group at The Kids Neuroscience Centre, Kids Research Institute.

Dr Gill graduated from the University of London and trained in paediatrics and paediatric neurology in London before completing a clinical fellowship in neurology at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Dr Gill has published over 95 research papers in the field of paediatric neurology and he is an internationally recognised expert in childhood epilepsy, and has pioneered new techniques in the surgical and genetic management of children with epilepsy.

Dr Gill sees children with new onset seizures and explains the best course of treatment and management, tailored to the individual child and family. His patients have access to one of the best neurology diagnostic laboratories at Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Please only refer children, aged 0-15 years, for an appointment with the following presentations:
New onset seizures and epilepsy
• Fits, faints and funny turns in babies and young children
• Headaches
• Review and interpretation of abnormal brain scans

Please note that Dr Gill does not offer appointments at KidMed for patients who have already been seen by other neurologists.
